Glutamine, ribose/creatine or whey protein?

Joe T asked:

or all of them. For a triathlete/lifter which is the best choice, while being slightly economical. Here are the costs I will purchase them for Glutamine ($0.80 a day), ribose/creatine ($0.70 a day) and why protein ($0.40 a day). I am willing to buy all of them, but being a highschool student spending $2 a day on this stuff can be rather expensive. Also, if there is anything else someone can come up with I am all ears.

    1-whey protien taken post workout
    #2-glutamine taken post workout
#3-creatine taken post workout, creatines results normally fade away once you quit

Don’t take glutamine. Glutamine is an amino acid found in protein. You already get more than enough glutamine in your diet. It would be like adding a thimbleful to a barrel. Don’t take ribose/creatine. Ribose is also found in plentiful supply in your diet. Just take regular creatine. And, if you already get protein in your normal diet, you can skip the whey. Whey protein is just food, and expensive at that. Regular food works perfectly well.

People will sell anything to make money. I’m just waiting for the day they start selling air pills, because air is needed by the body to build muscles. And I don’t doubt that people will buy it.

Bro, just go with the whey. ribose blows. Here are my favorite supplements in order what I like and use the most.

    Whey protein
AAKG (arginine any version is good for me)
    Glutamine
Creatine – not to often because I eat so much red meat.

I live on the whey and throw the arginine in every now and then. trust me you can do with out all the other stuff!!!!
